Personality:
He's quiet and reserved unless you know him. He used to be open and willing to make friends, but after the death of his sister he shut himself off from the outside world. He avoids making friends with most people and those that he does consider as friends are few and far between. Rumor has it that he did love once, and if he did, he has shut himself off further from the world.

History:
One of the four mentioned to have helped in the defeat of Brimra in a temple at the ancient city of Tymy.  After the death of his sister Guenwhyvar, Lucien disappeared from L'Main and decided to start a new life on Everlynn.  He came into the service of the Knights of Noctura and soon rose in rank.  He caught the attention of the then ruling Prince Draconis von Nightscape, who recognized Lucien's style of combat as that belonging to the Blade Dancers.  The prince offered him a position as protector of the ruler of Camille known as the Prince's Herald, who would be charged with protecting the current ruler in his lifetime and also be sent out to do certain tasks in the name of the prince.  Lucien agreed and signed a contract with Draconis, never knowing that his life was now bonded to the prince's.  Upon his first discovery of his new found immortality, Lucien was stricken with rage but soon accepted the fact.  This allowed him great freedom to do many more things than he thought possible and even protect his prince when his opponents thought him dead.  

The identify of the Prince's Herald was kept secret, allowing him the opportunity to live his life without fear of being hated.  As his skills grew along with his reputation for his merciless and swift actions in all of his duties, he became to be known as the Dark Herald.  As Lucien he was known only as a Knight of Noctura.  For centuries he lived this way, occasionally changing his name or journeying to other parts of Everlynn to live for a century or two; however, he would always return to Noctura.  

He made few friends while living in Noctura, one among them being Sir Edgar, whom he trusted.  He soon met a young lady named Celesta Ranporr and fell in love, but it was not to be (see Letters from the Heart).  Heart-broken and tired of living for so long, Lucien approached Draconis and asked to sleep.  Draconis obliged his friend, placing him under a magic induced sleep.

During his long slumber, Lucien felt the stirrings of a familiar presence: the Void.  He has now come awake in preparation of facing it once more and hopefully lock it away once and for all.
